I'm looking to get a new tower, an internal hard drive and some RAM. Currently, I've got this stuff:
https://secure.neweg...spx?ID=30725787

Looking to get thoughts on what I've got, and what people might think I should get? Any opinions are appreciated!

- Keep in mind I have a rather limited income B) (Trying to go under $300 for the lot, current wishlist is at $340)

Sorry, but the link doesn't work properly. Clicking on "Saved has too many to tell which is the one you are referring to.

Fixed. Must have used the wrong link or something, I shared the wishlist as "Public" so it should be viewable.

Looking at around $200 - $300 I think. Even that is more than I want to spend, but it has to be done lol.

Thanks for the feedback guys, really appreciate it!

I really don't like Seagate at all, terrible experience with them.

Other than that I don't see anything wrong.

Yeah that's really the thing I was worried about. It got questionable reviews.

Looking to get at least 3 TB though, so I can make/store video's in the future. Any idea on a better company to go with?

I've always stuck with WD (Western Digital), I have had 5 of their drives before (currently running 2 in the rig I'm on now) and not one of them has ever died or become faulty.

The price jumps up and up hehe.
http://www.newegg.co...6-624-_-Product

Looking at that now. Only 2TB, but comes with the cables I need.

The 3TB is quite a bit more money... +$50

Updated the list, added the WD 2TB instead of the Seagate bare 3TB.

So 1TB less of storage plus $30 more than the seagate or so, but in return you get a more reliable drive.

I'd say that's a good deal, considering 3TB would be absolutely pointless if everything on it got wiped due to drive failures.

I agree with  Psycho.  You have a good package with those items and the WD 2TB is on sale for a day or two.

Unfortunately I don't have the money on hand to make the purchase. Perhaps I'll wait for another sale :)
