so i have been hearing that my fps may have been slightly behind what i should be getting with my gtx 780, my setup currently is

amd fx 8350
gigabyte 970a ud3 motherboard,
corsair vengence 1333 mhz
geforce gtx 780 sc acx .
i want to get higher speed ram to help with the know bottleneck with my cpu and gpu.
so what im looking into picking up is this
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813131877
that for a motherboard
and then this for ram
http://www.newegg.co...N82E16820231611
i think this would be a good combo but tell me what you think seems i am never ending bottomless pit of newb questions lol. thanks for any input you guys have.

I personally would get ram with a little bit better timings.

Also that motherboard looks pretty ugly. Again, just my opinion.

Ok yeah I'm not worried about the look I want functionality,  I want to be able to over clock my cpu and I want faster ram because my ram is running at 1333 right now, which I have heard with my cousin 8350fx can cause bottle neck with gaming which I feel I am noticing that my for is below where it should be since I have a gtx 780 so what ram would u suggest

That's better than 10-11-10-30

I would get something with either all 9s or 8s, along with a 24.

Here is a great example

Okay do you think that would improve performance for me?  Because I strongly feel I'm having some bottleneck with my graphics which is irritating me to no end

your cpu won't be a bottleneck. Its probably your mobo setting you back a bit. What is your FPS ? compare it with a few benchmarks here a dumb movie http://www.how-to-di...verclocked.html
Try passmark and cinebench for getting comparison material.

What more would u recommend I was thinking maybe the Asus sabertooth for the am3+ if I don't change cpu,  I'm get like in the ball park of like 45 to75fps in bf4 on ultra settings everything maxed at 1920x1080 that's probably a slight under estimate  but I have taken an exact average just noticed it not being as epic with the benchmarks and this is across most games,  they did release a small update so I will see if that helps in and I'm only talking about fps in multi cuz that's where it counts for me

Got a gigabyte 990fx with 8150 and a 7950. i run bf3 on steady 60 fps. A friend got the sabertooth and he sais it will be better. Don't really have knowledge about the nvidea GPU's but if looking at benchmarks it seems not strange your fps. If you upgrade your cpu and mobo to newest intell you probably get a few fps more but i wouldnt spend my money on think about 5-15 fps more.
