Low-Key Gaming

Vol. 7 – Oct. 19th, 2013

Low-Key Gaming Is Crossing The Pond!

Low-Key Gaming has primarily been a community made up of members in North America (United States and Canada); but we have never been absent in Europe, with several regular members calling the continent home. With our servers being located in the United States, recruiting has been difficult due to high server ping and cultural barriers. But today we would like to formally announce our expansion into Europe! Recently, we added a Battlefield 3 server located in Germany to alleviate the high pings. With this new server and new recruits we look to bring in even more members to be a part of the Low-Key community

To commemorate our expansions into Europe, we are going to be lending our European server to FredrikstadLAN 2013!  FredrikstadLan is a LAN event which features many consoles, movies, concerts, and shows. There will be major competitions of games from today and of yesteryear. FredrikstadLan is taking place between November 8th and the 10th in Fredrikstad, Norway. The event is going to host 664 participants being run by 60 volunteer crew members. Low-Key’s involvement will be lending our 64 slot server to the event to be divided into 4 16-player servers for them to use in competitions and exhibitions. For more information on the event go to www.fredrikstadlan.no; or you can contact Low-Key member Ceathor. At the conclusion of the event, we will regain control of the servers to be used for Battlefield 4!

We are excited that our community is expanding beyond the vision any of us could have predicted when we formed this community 2 years ago. Europe is our next frontier and we look forward to providing the best and most complete online experience one can find.
